Now

I’m in the beginning of a new chapter.

After four winters in Antarctica, it’s time to step out the comfort zone, again. My partner and I are setting ourselves up for a life with even more freedom, a little less routine, and plenty of room for adventure.

The current plan involves a Sprinter van, yoga teacher training in Guatemala, the possibility of slinging Bacon Dogs at the Florida State Fair with my carnie friends, and hopefully returning to Palmyra Atoll to work together. Beyond that, we’re keeping our options open.

I’m still drawn to remote places, hands-on work, unusual opportunities, and ways of living that leave room for the unexpected.

The plan will probably change. It usually does.
