I’ve been a Peace Corps volunteer in Morocco, thru-hiked the Appalachian Trail, walked the length of New Zealand on Te Araroa, spent four austral winters in Antarctica, cooked for a small crew on a remote Pacific atoll near the equator and I’ve even spent bits of a summer on the road as a carnie.
I’ve followed work to unusual places, collected stories along the way, and repeatedly found myself wondering: what next?
Part travelogue. Part journal.
This is where I keep those stories.
Some are about particular places. Some are about the people I met, the work I did, and the things I learned. And you best believe there’s some talk about my feels in here, too.
People often ask me where I’m headed next, or what places are on my bucket list.
My answer has always been the same: I want to go everywhere.

I’m leaving my Antarctica years behind and heading into something new: a Sprinter van, yoga school in Guatemala, hopefully another season at Palmyra Atoll, and whatever opportunities appear after that.
I don’t have the whole thing figured out. That’s rather the point.
