Day Seventy-Five

The Castle Rock trip was postponed, again. It was -70F out on the ice shelf…so while I can’t wait to see the sky from out there, I was not sad to miss that level of cold. It’s -33F here in town and with the wind chill -54F. Cold, dark and windy.

In other not so exciting news, the QuickBooks update, was not complete even after starting it at 2PM yesterday. By 12:15PM today it was very close to being finished, but not by the time the store opened and so I had to cancel out of it. That leaves trying again tomorrow (Wednesday) after I close the store for the evening and giving it the entire day on Thursday while the store is closed. Slow slow slow.

Other than those two lil nuggets of info, it was another day of slinging Nalegenes, snacks, smokes and booze to the McMurdites.

Another Taco Tuesday come and gone.

  1. Plus you are 3/4 of the way through your 100 days of darkness! That’s pretty rad!
